I simply cannot believe that December is here already! I don’t feel very Christmassy as I have done zero Christmas shopping and decorating. So this is going to be a busy month for us to get everything ready in time.
My boys have decided that we will decorate the house this weekend and I have decided that we will ‘shop local’ where possible. I am looking forward to the shops re-opening so that we can do this. I just hope the weather will be kind…
So, the day has come to crack open my Glossybox Advent Calendar which has been waiting patiently in the corner of my living room for almost two months!
Forgive me in advance, but I am aiming to post daily with details of each surprise.

Brushworks website description: The Brushworks HD Complexion & Contouring Set is perfect for contouring, strobing and highlighting natural facial features. The different shape sponges allow for flawless application of foundation, and facial make up. Designed to evenly blend makeup for a smooth, enhanced finish.
The latex free hydrophilic sponges are ultra-soft, non-sensitive, flake resistant and long wearing. The sponges expand with water to make blending easier and absorb less make up, holding only what is necessary for that flawless finish.
The Brushworks HD Complexion & Contouring Set is 100% Cruelty-Free and Vegan Friendly.
First Impressions: I am really happy with this product taking the number one spot. Makeup enthusiasts can never have enough makeup sponges and I don’t own a micro sponge. I look forward to potentially being able to blend concealer out underneath my eyes more easily than with a large sponge. The dry sponges feel quite dense and therefore, I feel they will last a fair while. Without having had a chance to try them yet (I already applied my makeup this morning!), I don’t know how they will compare to my Beauty Blender, Real Techniques sponges or the others I’ve picked up along the way in how they blend out my base products. I will keep you posted.
The colours are pretty and the products are cruelty-free and vegan.
