I was aware that we would be receiving a Fenty Beauty item in this calendar, but since it is the well-renowned beauty company of superstar Rihanna, I assumed the Fenty item would be the concluding item on Day 25, so I was pleasantly surprised to reveal this item today! It now makes me wonder what on Earth I will unbox on Christmas Day! The shade I received was ‘Trippin’ which is a golden peach colour.

First Impressions: I couldn’t wait to try this in my makeup routine today! It is a cream formula, so I decided not to powder down my cheeks today in case the formula didn’t work well with powder. The shade is deceptively dark and in fact the colour on the cheeks is a golden peach, which worked well with my light to medium skin tone. The stick is not very soft and I was concerned that it might lift my foundation, but it didn’t appear to (I used Sleek’s ‘Lifeproof Foundation’ in shade 4). I blended it with a brush and it gave a lovely subtle glow to the areas I like to highlight, namely my upper cheeks, forehead, down the bridge of my nose and Cupid’s bow. It also works as a blush, as it has the peachy tint and I do tend towards shimmering blushers anyway. All in all, I really like this product and will happily wear this on a day-to-day basis, as it is not too blinding and offers a ‘lit-from-within’ glow.
